Working closely with local and international partners, Mélanie ensures that exporters at all levels have access to a wide array of resources. Whether by putting together an effective contact network, mapping out a strategic action plan for target markets or helping companies in all sectors to develop new external markets, Mélanie aims to equip local entrepreneurs with the very best tools for their export-related initiatives.
As part of her duties, Mélanie conducts a broad-ranging analysis of the main issues facing companies in the Quebec City region. In collaboration with the rest of the Quebec International team, she also helps to develop new initiatives designed to meet entrepreneurs' needs.
Having spent six years abroad, including two in China, Mélanie speaks several languages and has extensive international experience. Drawing on these invaluable assets, she brings a unique perspective and expertise to the task of developing markets and forging links with other cultures. Previously, she was a member of the economic team at Quebec Government Office in Barcelona, where she assisted Quebec-based companies seeking to gain a foothold in the Spanish market. Mélanie holds a master's degree in international business administration from ESCE Paris (School of International Trade) and EAE Business School in Barcelona, together with a bachelor's degree in modern languages and international studies (economics focus) from Laval University.
