Communications and economic reportingBack

Our economic and regional research professionals are responsible for ensuring the availability of high-quality economic information. Their efforts are focused on tracking changes in the regional, national and international economic climate and business environment and on developing regional economic indicators. They also carry out research and analysis aimed at identifying opportunities, guiding development strategies and defining actions to be taken in support of economic growth. Professionals in the communications department are responsible for all operations on communications, public relations and marketing. They ensure, in accordance with the mandates of the organization, enhancement of the region’s status, promotion of the services and the quality of the information provided by Quebec International.

As Quebec International's Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, Isabelle coordinates the organization's public relations, marketing and international promotion activities. In this capacity, she heads a team of seasoned professionals who implement positioning strategies aimed at ensuring the development of the Quebec City region and Quebec International at the national and international levels.


With 15 years of experience in the field, Isabelle has proven skills in the areas of strategic planning, marketing and media relations. She also has extensive experience in the public and political spheres, having worked for more than 10 years for the Quebec government, most notably as press attachée and strategic advisor within various departments and agencies, including the Department of Health and Social Services (MSSS), the Department of Labour and Social Solidarity (MESS) and the Treasury Board.

Isabelle was appointed Manager of Communications and Public Affairs in 2009. She has led a number of major projects, including Quebec International's corporate identity change and the top-to-bottom redesign of the organization's website, which won first prize in the 2011 Marketing Canada Awards presented by the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC).
