Thierry is mandated with developing and spearheading investment prospecting initiatives aimed at increasing the presence of European and Asian firms in the Greater Québec City region. He also monitors the activities of foreign subsidiaries and supports them in their business projects.

Foreign investors and subsidiaries in the region will discover that Thierry is a key contact with in-depth knowledge of local stakeholders and business partners and with the ability to support expansion projects and expedite the various stages involved.

The goals Thierry and his team strive to achieve include ensuring the success of implementation projects and the growth of foreign companies in the Québec City region. Together with his team, Thierry offers investors turnkey support at every stage of implementation in the Québec City region, from project planning to rollout and startup. He also provides guidance to foreign subsidiaries present in the region and supports their expansion projects in cooperation with a network of partners.


Thierry has nearly 20 years of market development experience in North America, Europe and Asia, focusing on high-growth sectors in the Québec City region, particularly optics/photonics, geospace and IT services. He has also acquired solid expertise in the areas of corporate finance and R&D projects, as well as in planning and leading international promotion missions and activities.

Prior to joining the Quebec International team, Thierry held key business development positions with Korem and DICOS Technologies, as well as with Investment Quebec as a project manager (foreign investment prospecting) and with the Business Development Bank of Canada as a portfolio manager.

Thierry holds an MBA in international marketing and finance from the University of Montreal's HEC School of Business, in addition to a bachelor's degree in geomatics from Laval University and a bachelor's degree in business administration (finance option) from the University of Sherbrooke.
