Québec City Healthcare Industry Forum

Québec International invites you to the 11th edition of the Québec City Healthcare Industry Forum, held on December 5 and 6, 2017 at the Hilton Québec.

Innovation has always been an overarching theme of the Québec City Healthcare Industry Forum over the years.  Rich and unifying, this focus has led attendees to explore innovation in all its facets, from R&D to marketing, validation to integration. Anyone who ponders innovation knows that it has many definitions. While it is difficult to agree on a single meaning, one thing is for certain: innovation creates value.

As in previous editions, the 2017 Québec City Healthcare Industry Forum will spark discussions between stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem and the life science spheres. The aim is to maximize the benefits of integrating industrial and scientific innovations, for patients, clinicians, the healthcare system and Quebec’s economy. Over the years, the Forum has addressed topics and encouraged discussions that resonated with decision-makers, as demonstrated by the new 2017-2027 Life Sciences Strategy Quebec adopted, to which many people have contributed. It is clearly important to continue nurturing such reflections by building more bridges between innovators and the system’s different stakeholders.

We hope you will join us in paving the way for better integration of health innovations. In this 11th edition of the Forum, we will once again attempt to find new avenues for optimizing care trajectories.  The healthcare system will be the focus of our discussions, so the innovators can fully contribute to its improvement. The industry and system will be called to develop a joint understanding of the issues and a shared vision of their respective contributions to optimizing care trajectories. In addition to building bridges, we will be developing a common language during this Forum!

As always, attendees can expect a quality program. Plenary sessions, case studies, expert talks, workshops and friendly competitions are planned this year. Some 250 participants will exchange ideas in a dynamic atmosphere that will lead to even more concrete discussions highlighting the benefits technological innovations bring.

The Québec City Healthcare Industry Forum is organized by Québec International, in collaboration with its program partners: BioQuébec, Génome Québec, Norton Rose Fulbright, Innovative Medicines Canada and Amorchem.
