TSO3 announces that the Company has been notified by the European Patent Office of its decision to grant a patent applied for in 2010. This patent describes a method for controlling condensation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) when sterilizing medical devices with hydrogen peroxide, either used alone or in combination with ozone or other chemistries. The U.S. government has for the first time approved an adjuvanted vaccine to protect against H5N1 bird flu. The vaccine was made by Quebec City-based ID Biomedical, a subsidiary of pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline. The approval was announced by the Food and Drug Administration, which regulates vaccines in the United States. The vaccine will not be available commercially; it will be placed in the U.S. government’s emergency stockpile.

The Assassin's Creed IV Freedom Cry trailer was created with the collaboration of partners in Quebec City:Sunny Side Up Creative did the conception and production work, while Squeeze Studio Animation created the 3D scenes and participated in the conception. SAGA produced the live action scenes, and Studio Elément took care of post-production.

The conclusions of a new study, presented in Québec City as part of the 7th Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics, show a favourable link between maple syrup and metabolic health. The in vivo study, conducted by a team led by Dr. André Marette, who holds a Ph. D. from Université Laval, aimed to compare the glycemic index of maple syrup to that of other sweetening agents, including brown rice syrup, corn syrup, agave syrup, honey, molasses and benchmark solution (dextrose), on healthy animals.
