New mobile application promotes Quebec City’s economic development

In this digitally driven era, Quebec International (QI) is pleased to announce the official launch of Quebec Intl, its brand-new mobile application. Featuring Mozzo technology developed by Piranha, a Quebec City-based firm specializing in mobility and innovation, Quebec Intl gives users touch-screen access to all of QI’s publications. The application is available on iOS and Android tablets and phones, as well as on Kindle.

 

Québec City Convention Centre’s kitchens welcome chefs of 5 heads of state

Things are steaming up in the Québec City Convention Centre’s kitchens. Tonight’s the night when the chefs of five heads of state will whip up a gourmet fundraising dinner for 200 of the city’s most generous foodies. Chefs from the presidential kitchens of the countries of Monaco, Italy, South Africa, Germany, and France will prepare the banquet alongside the Convention Centre’s Executive Chef Gérard Michel.

 

YQB voted best airport in North America

For the third time in the last four years, the Québec City Jean-Lesage International Airport (YQB) has been voted Best Airport in North America in the 0-2 million passenger category according to Airport Service Quality (ASQ), a world-wide survey lead by Airports Council International (ACI) which measures airport client satisfaction.

 

Université Laval receives STARS gold rating with best performance in Canada

Université Laval received the STARS (Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System) gold rating for its strong commitment to sustainable development. This distinction was awarded by theAssociation for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development, with a membership of more than 1,000 universities worldwide.
