Holland America boosts its presence on the St. Lawrence

International Cruise: announcement of an agreement reached with Holland America Line. This agreement will serve to significantly increase summer cruise ship traffic on the St. Lawrence River. Using the Veendam cruise ship, the company plans to add at least eight turnaround operations (embarking/disembarking) in Quebec City during the summer over a three-year period beginning in 2013.


New Interactive Floor Plans at the Convention Centre

The Québec City Convention Centre has developed new interactive floor plans for its website. You can now select services such as escalators and cloakrooms to visualize them on one of the Convention Centre’s three floors. Furthering the interactive experience are 360º images of the 232,000 sq. ft facility. Two U.S. associations choose Québec City

Two U.S. associations have chosen Québec City, one of the top seven intelligent cities in the world, for their international conferences in July 2014—bringing to ten, the number of international conferences and conventions confirmed for the summer of 2014. The Cognitive Science Society and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence will bring together over 2,000 cognitive science and artificial intelligence specialists at the Québec City Convention Centre for nine days.
