Sunwing meets its food catering needs in Quebec City

Culinair and Sunwing Airlines have signed a three-year $10 million agreement that will lead to the creation of 40 jobs.

New health food training program

Laval University and the federal government recently announced three new partnerships, representing a contribution of $4 million over a six-year period. Under one of the partnerships, a multi-disciplinary training program will be created in the health food sector.

BNQ grants first FSSC 22000 certification to Quebec City’s A. Lassonde Inc.

The Quebec Standards Bureau (BNQ) has granted its first FSSC 22000 certification to A. Lassonde Inc., which develops, produces and markets an innovative and distinctive range of fruit and vegetable juices and beverages. This certification was the first to be granted to a Quebec-based food producer and only the second to be granted to a Canadian company.
