Some examples of our achievements

Québec EPIX stands out by contributing to many projects and achievements that draw on stakeholders’ and partners’ expertise. The results highlight the innovative force in the greater Québec City area and supports the region’s visibility, at home and abroad.

  • CATAPULTE

    Sponsored by Québec EPIX and winner of an IEDC Golden Award as an entrepreneurship support initiative, CATAPULTE is an acceleration program for young independent video game studios. After presenting their project to a jury composed of industry experts, the winners receive a grant, support and coaching throughout the creation and launch of their video game.

  • La Caravane

    La Caravane is an annual event intended to strengthen the relations between independent video game developers in the province of Quebec and support their business development endeavours abroad. Training, pitch sessions, meetings with professionals and public presentations are some of the activities that take place during this event.

  • Québec | Technocreative City

    In the context of the pandemic, with everyone talking about the importance of buying locally, Québec EPIX has reached out to the businesses in its sector to highlight their accomplishments and creativity. With this initiative, the public was able to discover the region’s prolific industry and learn more about its original intellectual property projects.

  • Québec City shines during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco

    From March 18 to 22, 2019, four Québec International representatives headed for San Francisco to attend the Game Developers Conference, which set a new attendance record this year with 29,000 participants. Many Québec City professionals also took part in this key event in the video game industry, where Quebec talent was recognized in more than one occasion.
