“We are proud to have sparked interest across the province of Quebec with this high-level competition, which aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in the technology sector. Ever since the inaugural edition of Devtech 50 in 2009, we’ve wanted to turn it into a major competition along the lines of major entrepreneurial contests such as MIT’s 100K and the University of Waterloo’s LaunchPad 50K. The presence of entrepreneurs from so many different regions of Quebec among the finalists confirms that the innovative initiatives promoted by Quebec International are once again helping to position the Quebec City region on the cutting edge of support for entrepreneurship,” said Carl Viel, president and CEO of Quebec International.

The third edition of Devtech 50 is made possible thanks to the support of numerous partners, including our “gold” partner, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), and our three “silver” partners, the Quebec City CLD,Deloitte and Teralys Capital.
