QI received the EDAC's Digital Media Website First Prize in recognition of the quality of its new web portal. Launched one year ago, QI's website is an economic portal, a promotional showcase for the Quebec City region and a business reference tool. The site, located at www.quebecinternational.ca, features high-quality content on the regional business environment and provides information on services provided by QI and various regional and national organizations. The site was designed with the expertise of regional companies such as NOFOLO and Spektrum Media.
QI is also very proud to receive the APDEQ's COMM'UNIQ Award (Identity Category) in recognition of its new corporate identity. Slightly over one year ago (September 17, 2010), QI unveiled its brand new name, reflecting the organization's renewed commitment to promoting the international standing of the Quebec City region and attracting talent and investment. The Quebec City-based agency LG2 created QI's new visual identity with a combination of unparalleled professionalism and talent.
The APDEQ also presented QI with its Economic Development Pioneer Award in recognition of Devtech, QI's technology entrepreneur support strategy. Devtech includes strategic guidance services, financing search assistance (Devtech Table), a fast-track growth program (Propulsion) and entrepreneurial competitions such as Devtech 50, whose grand finale will be held on November 10 in Quebec City.
